Celebrate the opening of the Mighty Mississippi exhibit with a day of fun for the whole family featuring live music, hands-on activities, resource tables, and more!

11AM–3PM: Build your own riverscape, enjoy a water table activity with Great Rivers Greenway, and get an up-close look at a 29-foot, hand-carved canoe with Big Muddy Adventures. Plus, take part in activities from Missouri Confluence Waterkeeper and the Academy of Science—St. Louis‘s STEM Teens Leadership Council.

11:30AM AND 1:30PM: ENJOY A FAMILY-FRIENDLY MUSICAL PERFORMANCE BY THE SHELDON. Nothing but the Blues” follows the story of the blues from its African roots to its formation in the Mississippi Delta and its spread up the river to St. Louis, Memphis, Chicago, and Kansas City.
