River Soundings is back and better that ever. This year will feature events over two days at Klondike Park, and we’ll be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Clean Water Act.
The weekend will bring together citizens, agencies, organizations, and governments across the Missouri River to learn about key issues affecting the river basin and create plans for action.
Activities will include fireside storytelling, guided bird and history walks, kayaking and paddling, and many other opportunities.
Presentations on river health, ecology, recreation, protection and policy will be offered on both afternoons. Olivia Dorothy of American Rivers will give the keynote presentation. Follow this event to see more about our speakers as they are announced!
Box lunches will be available for purchase on Friday and food trucks will be available on Saturday.
Come for the whole weekend or join as you like! Registration is free & open to the public on a first-come/first-serve basis. Save your spot at: https://www.greenwaynetwork.org/river-soundings/ and share on social media: https://fb.me/e/2IIqn8vCz
